21 And I gave her time that she should repent; and she willeth not to repent of her fornication. 22 Behold, I cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works.
Bed - a couch (for sleep, sickness, sitting or eating): - bed, table. (10x's)
Matt 9:2,6 - lying on bed with palsy, Jesus forgives his sins
Luk 5:18-20 - lying on bed with palsy, Jesus forgives his sin
Acts 5:15 - the sick lay on beds, Peter shadow might overshadow some of them? Heal them? Jesus heals them thru Peter?
***Could the 'bed' be a metaphor for where the sinful, Jezebel-ish church is cast. Sickly and without authority?

What is the lamp?
What is the bed?
Luk 8:16
And no man, when he hath lighted a lamp, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but putteth it on a stand, that they that enter in may see the light.
Who is the man? Jesus
Who is lamp? Jesus in His people (church)
What is the bed? The place where the sick/palsy/Jezebel church has been cast
Luk 17:34 one bed? One taken? One left?
Hmmm...who are these?
Mar 7:3-6 (note vs4 tables or beds) all the other mentions of this word are referred to as 'a bed'
Do they wash (purify) the brasen vessels (beds) they have received to hold? Or are they just going thru the motions? As hypocrites?

Great tribulation -
Mat 24:20-21
20 And pray ye that your flight be not in then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.
When shouldn't we desire the great tribulation? The sabbath.
What's the sabbath? 7th day
Rev 7:14
And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Who are these?
Rev 7:9-10
9 After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 and they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation unto our God who sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb.
***These seem to be very important people in God/Jesus eyes.
Rev 2:23-25
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works. 24 But to you I say, to the rest that are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, who know not the deep things of Satan, as they are wont to say; I cast upon you none other burden. 25 Nevertheless that which ye have, hold fast till I come.
What does Jesus compare the deep things of Satan to, in verse 24?
Evidently, the teachings of Jezebel that have seeped into his church. Scary, it's not the devil worshipers or witches of modern society.
Think these Jezebel-ish teachings are all around us? Absolutely!
Overcomers
Rev 2:26-29
26 And he that overcometh, and he that keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give authority over the nations: 27 and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to shivers; as I also have received of my Father: 28 and I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
What are these people overcoming? Jezebel influence?
Overcomers are given authority over the nations (gentiles)
Overcomers will rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to shivers;

Is 30:9-14 prob overcomers
***Seems these overcomers are given a large role by God to break down the wayward church, buildup and rule?
D. Overcomers given the morning star
What is the morning star?
Rev 22:16
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.
Psalm for today, the 7th day, Sabbath
Psa 46:1-3
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah; set to Alamoth (girls, virgins of marriageable age). A Song. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains tremble with the swelling thereof.
Alamoth - girls, virgins of marriageable age. Think the 10 virgins from Matt 25:1
Very present help (in time) in trouble. Tribulation, distress, anguish
Tho the earth changes (altered)
Tho mountains shake into the midst of the sea
***Obviously these earth changes could be metaphors for other things. Like what?
-great political change???
Tho the waters (seas) roar and be troubled
-sea of humanity??
Tho mountains tremble with swelling
-swelling = pride/majesty
Psa 46:4-5
4 There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God will help her, and that right early.
God is in the midst of her, not while in heaven, but while on earth.
He will help her right early. (Footnote says: at the dawn of the morning) Like on the 7th day where the gate of the inner court is opened on the 7th day.
Psa 46:6-8
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 Jehovah of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. 8 Come, behold the works of Jehovah, What desolations he hath made in the earth.
Nations raged, kingdoms moved. He utters his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord of hosts is with us and is our helped. Seems there is a clear recognition that God is with them.
See (perceive) the works of the Lord. What desolation (horror, waste) He has made in the earth.
***Wonder if it will be difficult to recognize the hand of God 8n the desolation?
Psa 46:9-11
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariots in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 Jehovah of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.
Wars cease throughout the whole earth.
The bow is broken and the spear is cut in pieces.
What might this mean?
The chariot is burned in the fire.
What are chariots?
Could be vehicles of war. But at times these are the "spiritual works" done in the name of God usually by Babylon, the wayward church.
Be still and know that I am God.
Wonder if this has to do these verses?
Heb 4:9-10
9 There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
God will be exalted in the earth.
God is with us and is our refuge (high tower)
