Rapture?

Discuss the hidden mana I received in 2006/7 where I began to seek God with abandon. And how it opened my eyes to the truth about the rapture and the simple fact that very few had a shred of interest in discussing it or whether there was a biblical foundation for it. And I would attend churches where part of the prophecy rested on teaching of rapture.

When you have the freedom to recognize truth for the word or from the word yourself and turn around and look at your denomination and realize that they are not presenting it, or they're not presenting it correctly you begin to say what else is wrong that I've been wrongfully taught.

Dan 7:9-14 9 I beheld till thrones were placed, and one that was ancient of days did sit: his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, and the wheels thereof burning fire. 10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. 11 I beheld at that time because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake; I beheld even till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire. 12 And as for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. 13 I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Dan 12:1-3 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.

Mat 24:15-31

Mat 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Henceforth ye shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.

Mar 14:62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.

Luk 21:25-28 25 And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows; 26 men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. 27  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.

Act 1:9-11 9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they were looking stedfastly into heaven as he went, behold two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 who also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye looking into heaven? this Jesus, who was received up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye beheld him going into heaven.

Act 3:19-21 19 Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord; 20 and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus: 21 whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, whereof God spake by the mouth of His holy prophets that have been from of old.

1Th 3:13 to the end he may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

Jud 1:14-15 14 And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones, 15 to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

So on the last day, Jesus appears a second time to those who are waiting.

Heb 9:28

so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

John 6:39-40

39 And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all that which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

How many last day/s are there?

Now let’s be honest, the last day cannot mean seven years before the last day.

The modern day church system (from the 1830s onward) says that JESUS will come and rapture His church off the earth seven years prior to His second coming. After Jesus has raptured His church, He will bring 7 years of tribulation upon the earth, and after that Jesus will come again.

- - -

I believe that as we look at these verses, we will plainly see that there is:

  1. ONLY ONE more coming of Christ. Period.

  2. There is NO RAPTURE

  3. DAY 7 IS THE DAY OF JUDGMENT AND RESTORATION.

Act 1:9-11

9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

How does Jesus come? In a similar manner as He left. With one exception, these two men hint at it.

How do they hint at it? By saying "why stand ye looking into heaven?"

What does this suggest? That Jesus comes in the clouds coming down from heaven, BUT NOT IN THE WAY THAT THE DISCIPLES ARE LOOKING.

Think back to the transfiguration, when Jesus was transfigured on the high mountain. What do you remember?

  1. Peter, James and John were with Him

  2. It occured AFTER 6 DAYS.

  3. Jesus shone like the sun

  4. Elijah and Moses were there

  5. The cloud overshadowed them all

Paul paints us a picture of the 2nd coming of Christ

1Th 4:14-17

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; 17 then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

  1. Vs14 Jesus returns bringing those that have fallen asleep (or have died). The cloud is metaphoric for these people

  1. Vs15 Those that are alive when Jesus returns will not go before those that have fallen asleep (or have died).

  1. Thinking back to the mount of transfiguration, who were those that were still alive when Jesus was transfigured on on day 7? Peter, James and John

  1. Vs16 Jesus comes with the voice of an archangel, and a trump and the dead in Christ shall rise first

  1. Vs17 we that are still alive shall be caught up in the clouds to meet Jesus.

  1. This is the second coming.

  1. Notice, there is only ONE coming, not a coming for His church, them coming again a second for others at the end of 7 years.

Here is another description by Paul of the second coming.

1Co 15:22-23

22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ's, at his coming.

  1. Vs23 Notice that after Christ, there is only one more resurrection of the righteous dead, “they that are Christ’s, at his coming.”

The rapture doctrine says there is a coming of Christ for His church followed by another coming of Christ 7 years later. Scripture does not prove it or even suggest it

Since we are seeing that there is only ONE more resurrection/rapture, it must be at the very “end” or everybody who gets saved cannot be resurrected.

1Cor 15:24-26

24 Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.

Notice that the last enemy that shall be abolished is death. The resurrection/rapture ushers THE END when God will have abolished all rebellious rule over and in His people. This does not happen seven years before the end when the influence of the beast, the harlot, sin, and the world system still have some hold on God’s people.

Paul speaks again of the second coming

1Co 15:51-55

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?

  1. Vs52 we shall all be changed at the last trump

  1. This event occurs once. There isn't a SECOND TO LAST TRUMP that occurs seven years beforehand.

  1. All will be changed at the last trump.

Anti Christ

1Jn 4:4

Ye are of God, my little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

Look closely at the second half of this verse, who are the two men that are in the earth?

  1. He that is in you…CHRIST

  2. He that is in the world…ANTICHRIST

#####

2Th 2:1-4

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him; 2 to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand; 3 let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, 4 he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God.

  1. Vs2-3 The day of the Lord won't come until the falling away occurs and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.

  1.  Who is the man of sin? Antichrist

  1. Who was the son of perdition? Judas, who was one of the disciples

  1. Vs4  the antichrist sits in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God.

  1. Where is the temple of God? The hearts of the Gods people throughout the earth.

  1. Something replaces Jesus in the hearts of God's people. Without them even realizing

2Th 2:5-12

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know that which restraineth, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness doth already work: only there is one that restraineth now, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming; 9 even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:

This rapture doctrine is one of those "working of error" and is a lie.

12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Are we designed for wrath?

1Th 5:9

For God appointed us not unto wrath, but unto the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

No wrath but we do endure persecutions, afflictions and suffering..

2Th 1:3-5

3 We are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, even as it is meet, for that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all toward one another aboundeth; 4 so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure; 5 which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

  1. Vs4 persecutions and afflictions

  2. Vs5 enduring this suffering is evidence that you called. Make sure that sure you are counted worthy.

“Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” 2 Thessalonians 1:6–10 (KJV 1900)

Hidden Manna:RAPTURE / RESURRECTION ON THE LAST DAY?

The Lord will not come until His enemies are under His feet and His elect are completely restored. (3:20) And that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, [even] Jesus: (21) whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all (of God’s elect) things (“things” is not in the Greek)…. When all are restored through the Tribulation, the Lord comes.

Here is that one resurrection again. (Rev.20:4)…[I saw] the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (5)… This is the first resurrection.

Notice that the saints who were beheaded, because they would not take the mark of the beast, are in the first resurrection. It was called first by John who looked into the future from 96 A.D. which was after Jesus’ resurrection. This clearly tells us that there is no resurrection and rapture before the Tribulation mark of the beast. The second resurrection, called the second death in verse six, is after a thousand years and is for the wicked.

Since the first resurrection is also the only resurrection of the righteous, it must be at the end of the Tribulation. If it were at the beginning, the great multitude that is purified during the Great Tribulation could not be resurrected. (Rev.7:9) After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of [all] tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…. (14)…And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made

them white in the blood of the Lamb. Notice that the resurrection and rapture are after the Great Tribulation, which most agree is the last 3½ years.

Jesus said He would raise up all of His people at the last day, which must also be the time of the rapture. (Joh.6:39) And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all that which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. (40) For this is the will of my Father, that every one that

beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (44) No man can come to me, except the Father that sent me draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day.

Job 14:12) So man lieth down and riseth not: Till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, Nor be roused out of their sleep. The resurrection cannot happen until the time when the heavens pass away. (2Pet.3:10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earthand the works that are therein shall be burned up. Obviously the heavens could

not pass away or the earth burn up at the beginning or even in the middle of the seven years or there would not be anybody here to have a tribulation! The resurrection and rapture could only be in the beginning of the last day, here called the day of the Lord, which we will see presently, is a year long.
