OT is full of NT prophecy. Even prophecy for today and our future.
Exodus 19:10-11
10 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to-day and to-morrow, and let them wash their garments, 11 and be ready against the third day; for the third day Jehovah will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
Exodus 19:15-20
15 And he said to the people, “Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.”
16 On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled. 17 Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their stand at the foot of the mountain. 18 Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the LORD had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled greatly. 19 And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder. 20 The LORD came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. And the LORD called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
Exodus 20:18-21
18 Now when all the people saw the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking, the people were afraid and trembled, and they stood far off 19 and said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak to us, lest we die.” 20 Moses said to the people, “Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin.” 21 The people stood far off, while Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.
Q: First time this occurred. Gods physical people. People trembled. People heard the sounds of trumpet and thunder and lightning wo understanding. Only Moses heard and understood Gods voice and responded.
Hag 2:6-9
For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the Lord of hosts. The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the Lord of hosts.’”
Pro 17:3
The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold; But Jehovah trieth the hearts.
Mal 3:1-3
1 Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, whom ye desire, behold, he cometh, saith Jehovah of hosts. 2 But who can abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: 3 and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer unto Jehovah offerings in righteousness.
Q: “Once again this will occur. Why? God’s NT people in the book of Acts are scattered throughout the world. Why silver? Why gold? Greater glory for latter house.
Heb 12:25-29
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned them on earth, much more shall not we escape who turn away from him that warneth from heaven: 26 whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more will I make to tremble not the earth only, but also the heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore, receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may offer service well-pleasing to God with reverence and awe: 29 for our God is a consuming fire.
Jesus uses types:
Luke 6:47-49
47 Every one that cometh unto me, and heareth my words, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who digged and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the rock: and when a flood arose, the stream brake against that house, and could not shake it: because it had been well builded. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream brake, and straightway it fell in; and the ruin of that house was great.
Both are "hearer". Both seem to be seeking or listening to Jesus.
-Jesus comes to bring a storm to see if you will "stand"
Here is a dream that I had on the morning of March 1st 2020.
I was outside of a stadium in Minneapolis. Inside the World series (or Super Bowl) was being played. I was standing on a platform watching a crowd of people outside the stadium. The crowd was rushing to a sporting goods store just outside the stadium to buy jerseys of the two teams that were playing.
In the dream i zoomed into the jerseys of the two teams....the Twins (white jersey) vs Temple (Scarlet red Jersey). A voice explained to me that these were real "genuine" jerseys and even showed me the "Genuine" label. I wasn't able to see it but I took his word for it.
Getting back to the dream, I was back on the platform watching the crowd. The ground shook back and forth. Each shake seemed to mirror what was going on in the game (which I couldn't see because I was outside the stadium). One shake would cause people to buy the Temple jersey and the next shake the crowd would buy the Twins Jersey.
I knew that both of these teams WOULD NOT be champions. Only one. But who? In the dream, I pictured a smiling President Truman holding up a newspaper from the November 1948 Presidential election which incorrectly printed "Dewey defeats Truman". Then the dream ended.
I think the word 'genuine' means that it was real
The game wasn't over when the dream ended.

I think the shaking represent what is going on in the world.
God is shaking his people. Both teams are 'of God's.
The Twins are Thomas or Didymus. Both words mean 'twin'.
We know him as "doubting Thomas". But he was a disciple.
Joh 11:15-16
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him. 16 Thomas therefore, who is called Didymus, said unto his fellow-disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
Joh 14:5-7
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Joh 20:24-25
24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.
Joh 20:27-29
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and put it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Temple

Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
